City Hall

When is City Hall open?

City Hall is open from 8am - 5pm, Monday-Friday, except for select holidays.

Where can I pay city property taxes?

The City of Kennett no longer collects on local property taxes.  All payment for property tax are collected at the Dunklin County Courthouse,. within the city square.

Do I need a permit to have a yard sale?

Yes, each individual wanting to have a yard/garage sale are required to purchase a permit.  Also, only 4 yard sales can be done at any physical address per calendar year.  The permit is $5.00 for up to 2 days.

Can I apply online?

At this time, the City of Kennett does not have a fillable online application. However, you can download the application from our website, complete and email to cityclerk@cityofkennettmo.com. Otherwise, You must return the completed application to Kennett City Hall, 200 Cedar Street, Kennett, Missouri 63857. Should you have any questions, please contact the City Clerk's Office at 573-888-9001.
